About Psychotherapy
Concerns and Complaints
The ICC aims to provide a safe, effective, clinical service. Members of the ICC are expected to maintain the highest standards of proficiency, performance and professional conduct. All our members adhere to the Code of Ethics of their training organisation and those of the BPC and UKCP.
If anyone is dissatisfied with some aspect of their therapy they should, first and always, take this up with their therapist. If they are not able to resolve their difficulty directly with him or her, they can contact the ICC Referral Therapist, who will direct them to the correct person or organisation if they wish to take the matter further or make a formal complaint.
Concerns about ICC procedures and practices should be taken via the Referral Therapist to the Referrals Manager.
We take any complaints very seriously. We also welcome other comments on any aspect of our work and our organisation. You can contact us by email or address your letter to The Chair of Council, Inner City Centre, 76 Wentworth Street, London E1 7SA.
